Nicorette is a way of taking an oral dose of nicotine. So, it's going to put additional stress on your heart, so my take is that if you normally chew a nicotine gum, then you should follow your normal routine. If on the other hand you don't regularly chew this gum, then don't.

Now, your doctor may have a different take on this because he may be looking for other things that it may impact.

The best thing is to ask the doctor.

If you do, make sure that your doctor knows that you've chewed it, the dosage and how long before the test you chewed it.
