I am going to participate in a 5k race tomorrow, if the weather is good. I am 5'11", 33 yo, 173 lbs, and will probably run in under 30 min. That's to give an idea of where I stand. This will be my first race. My question is, what should I eat on the morning before race. My thinking is, 3 pieces of bread with milk should be good. Is that a good idea?

i felt not so good and felt pain in the chest, likely lung/diaphragm related. my real goal was not 30 minutes, but 25.

Accidentally, I did just that, last night.

I ran the race for 25.20, according to my watch. Will see what the official results are.
