What does it mean if I had unsustained vtack with no symptoms?

tachycardia - a condition where your heart decides to race for no external reason (like you just ran up stairs!)

vtac - ventricular tachycardia - which means the ventricles of your heart decided to race for some reason (not the whole heart). Like so many things related to the heart, it only is a symptom of another problem, not a diagnosis. Something causes vtac ... now to find it!

unsustained - it lasted for less than 30 seconds If an individual event, then they're generally not too much to be concerned about, but it's when these events happen more often.

If it was sustained, then it is vital to find and treat the underlying cause. Unsustained is more difficult because it may be just a one time thing. Like looking in the stable after the horse has bolted for the fly that freaked out the horse, which has long since flown away!
