When I go to bed at night I can feel my pulse thumping in my ears. This never used to happen.
Is it worth seeing a doctor?

Sometimes the pulsation of the arteries can cause this type of thumping, but by itself is not a worrisome complaint.

If there are associated complaints of increased blood pressure, headache, visual disturbance, hearing changes, palpable lump in the region of the ears, then you should see your doctor.

Hope this helps. I have been off SMC for a few days and hope to return sometime next week or so, but hope a quick note will help here...

I am surprise that there is no reply on this thumping in the ears. Many people have it and don't know if you should see the doctor and just ignore it. I have it, could someone make a comment on it
