I wore the patch for like seven weeks, and now I've been a week or two without it. I have more cravings with the patch than without it, but, the patch really helps me to control my emotions.
I wish my wife knew what I was going through. She hasn't been very supportive and that sucks. (To her, quitting smoking appears to not be much more effort than switching brands of bottled water.)
I know what you're going through, for sure for sure.
I quit smoking one time for six months. I was on a six week business trip to the Orient and cigs were dirt cheap on the plane (duty free). I thought,
"Gee, quitting was easy six months ago. I'm just going to smoke for the duration of this trip and then quit when I go back home."
Your excuse is way better than mine

But it is an excuse. The reason you went back is because you are like me: you are a drug addict.
It doesn't matter what kind of shit life deals up, you just can't smoke.
