Since I have been on meds, due to a heart attack, my memory, and ability to multi task have all but disappeared. I was wondering if I was alone in this and if it was temporary. My Doctors says that the meds are affecting my other systems... Does anyone have any experience with this?

Are you taking a "statin" drug for cholesterol? Plug the name of your drug and memory loss into Google. Lots of people report problems with these meds. I have memory "loss" ... not so much loss, but needs jogging quite a lot now. But it was worse with higher doses of statins. My statin dose was cut in half and it improved a fair bit.

The other possibility is that decreased blood flow to your brain from lower BP and heart rate from the meds may be causing a problem.

Talk with your doctor ... see if he's willing to cut dosage a bit.
