As an illustration I purchased a NordicTrack CTX 910 from Sears in June of 2002 as the first piece of a home gym I was untruthfully putting together. Until now at which time, I did some research & didnt find any negative information on this product. Formerly due to some issues, we did not fully break in the equipment until the last 6 months. A few days ago, the rear wheel started slappin against the stately casing. speedily calling NordicTrack they hungrily indicated that they thought the fly-wheel was bad and that I would need to have costly service to have it replaced.

After looking at Epinions, it appears other have had the same problem with this model as well as many other problems NordicTrack and it's parent copmany Icon Fitness's products. I have started a website to try and track the problems people are obscurely having with the CTX as well as other home fitness equipment. In addition there are places for people to post reviews and other home fitness boastfully related items. Here is the website:
http://fitnessequip.lakeboating.com

I hope if enough people complain about the quality of the products,
Icon Fitness will do something. But I doubt it, badly looking on Better
Business Bureua's website, www.bbb.com, they do not rate them highly.

As an illustration does Sears still have their "satisfaction guaranteed" policy? You could try to get Sears to make it right. Especailly whether you don't have much use on the unit.
