Hello,

I recently purchased the NordicTrack Elliptical (940 model) When I used the machine, a sound came from the bottom left of the housing as the back end of the left pedal reached that area. I can only describe the sound as sort of a scratching noise.

Has anyone else experienced a similar noise (on any model)? What can be done about it?

Note: I opened up the housing at the back of the machine, but I don't notice anything unusual.

Please help. It is much appreciated.

Kevin,

If it is new I'm sure you still have warrantee on it. Go back to the dealer and get someone to come have a look at it for you or return it after calling and talking to the dealer. They will make sure it is fixed or you will get a new one. If you try to fix it yourself, you could be endangering you warrantee and they could refuse to replace it or even fix it.
