I'm not a regular poster here but I haven't smoked in a few months now.
I've tried to quit, probably 10 times already.
My trick this time was to start exercising. I do weights and cardio but more cardio because it makes me really feel my lungs and all the crap I've been putting into it all these years by smoking. My desire to smoke is greatly reduced after I have exercised. So basically, start off exercising slowly and push yourself to improve. That is the key...you really have to try and make improvements each week.

Excellent advice...will help to keep the pounds off, too. Wish I had done it! LOL
