Went on this diet 2 years ago for 7 months. I lost about 40 pounds and it really worked for me. I want to start doing it again but I only know one really great place to buy mediterranean style food (fresh dates, honeys, olive oil, cinnamon fig spreads) from and that is www.holyfoodimports.com ..does anybody have any other sites or any other suggestions for me?

A Mediterranean diet is one that resembles that eaten by the countries surrounding the Mediterranean. It is not a "diet plan" as such but it has become a buzz work to suggest a way of eating that favors olive oil, bread, abundant fruit and vegetables, fish, and a moderate amount of dairy foods and wine.
