I am a 62 year old male. I am overweight (not obese) and vigorously hike, walk about 20 miles per week. I am a non-smoker, no family history of cardiac problems, and have slightly elevated Cholesterol.

A recent stress EKG came back 'inconclusive'. Something about the ST wave showing some abnormalities while resting. My doctor does not seem concerned, but is scheduling a nuclear imaging EKG.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Can anyone tell me (in layman's terms) what might be happening?

Edward62, welcome to the forum Nothing is wrong really but these checks are mandatory because of the reading. I agree with your doctor (who knows a whole lot better than I or anybody not owning a medical degree know about it)that you shouldn't worry

I know that must be hard. Still remember that most readings that come out having a slight abnormality will finally turn out OK....
