I need some advice.
I am a generally healthy 43 year old woman, and I got chest pain and bi lateral arm pains. I went to the er and they did a whole battery of tests on me, including stress tests, and told me I was find. I still have this strange chest pain and was wondering what else it could be or if I should ask to repeat the tests?

Lots of possibilities other than the heart which was the obvious thing the ER checked for. The tests they'll have given you are usually extremely accurate at determining whether you are in the midst of or had a heart attack.

So, this will probably have ruled out the immediately life threatening issues relating to your heart. So, with nothing obviously life threatening, it's time to go see your family doctor / GP and have him do a workup looking for other things such as spinal lesions.

Your answer makes me simultaneously happy and sad.
Spinal lesions sound like no fun.
Thanks for your anwer though. I will certainly heed your advice and make an appointment with my gp.

I only said spinal lesions as one of a million possibilities so that you can understand that some may be serious, but at the same time many aren't, and the only way you'll find out is to see your doctor!
