I had problems with muscle aches when I changed to Crestor ... I did some reading and to be honest, I don't trust the stuff. I went back to Lipitor at 40mG and the probs I had with the 80mg does went away.

Lipitor 80 = Crestor 20

so if you went to Crestor 10, you halved the equivalent statin dose

Apparently gamma gt levels are not normally drug related but rather a symptom of liver dysfunction. That said 80 mg of lipitor does impact the liver!

So, there's some things to talk to your doctor about ... "How's my liver? Why the increased Gamma GT?"

and do I need a lower dose of Lipitor? And "Is Crestor really better? (Surveying the web makes it a little suspicious)"
