I'm working on losing weight with aerobic exercise. After I exercise, I'm usually hungry. How long should I wait before eating if I'm trying to lose fat? I know that the intense exercising made my body switch to burning fat for energy, and that it continues to do so for some length of time after exercise. Won't eating something too soon after exercise, particularly carbs, give my body reason to stop burning fat and use what I just ate for fuel?

Thank you.

I eat 2 to 3 hours before training so energy is going into my system for the workout.

Many people believe that all this stuff is much less important than your total calorie balance.

Too low on fuel will cause the body to go to muscles for energy - not good.

If you wait about 5 days you'll be amazed how much weight you will lose.
