My blood pressure shot of last night. started with high pulse. whent to ER they said could be med change or a spike in salt intake since I had muchmore than usual.

Obviously the answer is to be very careful about sodium intake ... some foods contain suprisingly high sodium amounts (it's not just salt that matters, but that's one major source ... another is sodium bicarb ... don't use it for indigestion as was once done. THere's a lot of that in some pancake batters or muffin batters.

If it happens again, go see your doctor although a pulse of 100 is slightly high but the BP isn't out of line.

No, taking it too many times in immediate succession can give weird readings if you don't let everything relax long enough since you're squashing it!

one thing that will increase your pulse rate is worrying about your pulse rate! If the pulse rate doesn't come down then talk with your doctor ... but relax ... that's the important thing!
