I am 33 weeks pregnant. For the last two months or so I have noticed that my pulse races, and this was verified at my last doctor appointment where I had a bp of 90/60 and pulse of 111. My doctor has given me a referral to a cardiologist to have a Holter monitor for 24 hours, but it seems to me like there should be something less cumbersome that could explain my current prediament?

angerbee, welcome to the forum and congratulations for the upcoming birh I am excited for you and hope and trust all will be OK.

Probably there will be something less cumbersome to explain your current condition however.. .please note that this method of testing, if recommended by your doctor, probably is the one that will rule out any complications
