I had a sample size box of Hi-Lo cereal and I gave it a try. At first I liked it but then I noticed an aftertasted. I checked the ingredients and it said that it had stevia in it. I was telling someone about it and I checked the website for Back to Nature. The website (http://www.organicmilling.com/miva/merchant.mv? Screen=PROD&Store_Code=OM&Product_Code=01381) does not list stevia but does list evaporated cane juice. Weird.

Oh, it's actually a little weirder than that -- my box said Back to
Nature and the website says Nutritious Living... Maybe it was sold? :-/

Now all I have to do is move to someplace that has a Trader Joe's! Ok, seriously, I don't mind "unsweet." I like Uncle Sam cereal just fine and it has no sweetner at all -- and plain yogurt with just fruit added. I'll check out the Hi-Lo in the "big box" and see what it says. Next time it goes on sale at Whole Foods, it's mine

I've noticed the difference in name on the website vs. the box -- dunno why.

I just tried a new product from Trader Joe's -- More & Less cereal --
Trader Joe's brand. It has pretty much the same nutritional profile as the Hi-Lo, but is tastier, I think. It's apple cinnamon flavor, and sweeter than the Hi-Lo. The box lists brown sugar & honey among the ingredients, whereas the only sweetener I saw on the Hi-Lo box is cane juice. The More & Less has 2g sugar per serving, and the Hi-Lo has 1g.
