These two sites are probably the most interesting. There's a lot of "kill the drug companies" sites too that it wouldn't matter if they were sugar pills, they'd find deadly side effects and report those!

The most worrisome complaints with any statin medication (and they are all similar) are muscle pains and memory loss. The nuisance category is nausea.
I can't take Crestor because of muscle pain (within a few days of taking it) and higher doses of Lipitor similarly. I'm currently taking 60 mg of Lipitor.
I suffer from absent minded forgetfulness, and I'm not sure if that's caused by the statin, but it's a real nuisance. But very few things are "permanently" forgotten, just as life before my walk through cardiology!!!
Nausea is minimized by taking it at night with something food/drink with a little "body" ... hot chocolate works well for me (just have to watch how strong I make it ... use far less than recommended! and it satisfies my chocoholism while keeping the fats down as much as I can.
