For about the past 4-5 years, I have experienced weird "chest pains."
It feels like my heart is beating harder than normal (not faster). It isn't a pain as much as what I call a weird feeling. It lasts for about 2 weeks at a time usually (sometimes longer and sometimes only a few days) and happens every 3 or 4 months on a non-consistent basis.
Every once in a while it is accompanied with a flutter or a skip of my heart beat (once or twice during the 2 week occurrence). In the last year or so, I feel like I have to induce a burp to relieve pressure in my stomach/chest. I don't know if it is related to the weird pains in my chest. Sometimes I think that this could all just be stress related, but my grandfather and father have had heart problems before, so I don't know. Any advice?
