Hello all, I've been lurking on this group for the past couple of weeks and decided to participate *grin*
I have noticed that there are a couple of fitness programs on tv that I'd like to try. My husband and I work out at the gym pretty regularly. However, I find that most of my time is spent on the treadmill or bike watching t.v. (the tv receiver is the coolest thing ever) and not at least including some weights. What I'd like to do, is a couple of times a week, just do my cardio at home and focus on weights when I get to the gym.
My point of this rambling post, is I wanted to know if there are any shows in specific that anyone likes. I have a couple of workout tapes, however, there's just something weird (no, read: annoying!) about watching Richard Simmons sing 'My boyfriend's back' for what seems like the millionth time.
For Christmas, my husband and I will be giving each other a TiVo, so I won't have to go through the aggravation of trying to keep up a heart rate during the commercials
