Okay, so went to the Mad russian in Boston. There were about 16 other people there from Boston, New York and New Hanpshire. We all threw away our cigarettes, lighters, even nicorette gum if you could. Can not explain what this guy does but at the moment I don't feel like I'm in withdrawal it's been over 6 hours without nicotine, not even the gum, just cold turkey. I do feel a little shakey and I do have a headache, but no where's near how I've felt before when I've tried to give up cigarrettes.

So far so good.

So far 13 hours, 30 minutes 25 seconds ... money saved ... $4.00 today.

So far so good. Whatever that Mad Russian guy did seems to be working. The only withdrawal symptom from going CT I've had so far is a head ache. AND I had an agruement with my husband tonight and did not reach for one of his cigarrettes once. Smoking will NOT help me feel better or solve the problem.
I only have another 59 hours to go until all the nicotine is out of my system and then it's a matter of handling the emotion and mental aspect of it.

hi kar.. we must both be on right now!! drink a LOT of ice/cold water.
it will help flush the nic and crap out of your system and keep you hydrated and probably help with the headache.

i'd heard about that mad russian guy back in my ye olde new england days, hope it works out for you!

Did he hypnotize you?

I had a bit of jitters (go easy on caffeine!) and a headache for a week or two, and I quit CT. It doesn't get (physically) much worse than that, just take some advil and maybe some Bach's REscue Remedy or valerian or something, or find a handheld game or learn how to knit..

WTG.. this is as good of a start as you'll get, so strap yourself in and hold on tight!
